The school magnet learning philosophy is intertwined, aligned with the school goals, objectives and educational activities, evidenced by the challenging health sciences and career planning environment, wide range of academic options, enrichment activities, and the after school and community school programs.

RDMCS affords students a plethora of medical and health occupation and career exploration experiences. The science intensive real-world training includes opportunities to study with science education specialists, visiting health and medical arts related field trips within our community. Students will also have the ability to collaborate with our new state of the art Verizon Innovative Learning Schools (VILS) Lab, where they will be able to utilize Virtual Reality (VR) equipment, 3D printers, improved differentiated instruction, and increasing computational thinking strategies.
