General Information
- Uniform requirements include navy or white shirt, navy or khaki pants, and a belt
- Tutoring programs offered before and after school, and on Saturdays
- Health services provided by a registered nurse from Jackson Hospital
- Community School program that offers enrichment classes for student and adults.
Extended Foreign Language Program
- Prepare students to enter the workforce and to provide students with knowledge and skills intrinsic to competing in a global economy.
- Maximizes the opportunity to increase the number of students who are bilingual and biliterate.
- Provides opportunities and experiences that meet the needs of a diverse student population leading to greater access and equal educational opportunities.
Requirements for Special Programs
- Entering sixth grade in good academic standing, without a need for remediation
- Good school attitude, conduct, effort, and motivation
- Above average overall performance
- Teacher and/or counselor recommendation
- Parental permission
